Experience the vibrant fusion of French and Singaporean cultures at the vOilah! France Singapore Festival 2025, running from April 23 to June 8. This year marks a monumental milestone—celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and France. Organized by the French Embassy in Singapore, Institut Français Singapour, and Alliance Française, the festival showcases over 20 diverse programs across visual arts, performing arts, music, cinema, and literature

Highlights include:

• 🎨 Major Art Exhibition: Explore City of Others: Asian Artists in Paris, 1920s–1940s at the National Gallery Singapore, featuring over 400 artworks, archives, and images

City of Others: Asian Artists in Paris, 1920s-1940s is a groundbreaking exhibition that examines the art history of Paris from Asian perspectives. The exhibition compares the experiences of Asian artists in Paris during a dynamic period of time, featuring works by artists such as Foujita Tsuguharu, Georgette Chen, Lê Phổ, Liu Kang, Pai Un-soung, Itakulla Kanae, Hamanaka Katsu, and more!

Les Arts in Nature at Gardens by the Bay

Les Arts in Nature at Gardens by the Bay presents both traditional and modern French art.

Drawing on the rich history of French Baroque music of the 17th and 18th centuries, an ensemble of performers from Les Epopees will kick off the programme with works on birds and flowers with pieces by Marais, Couperin, Charpentier and others.

Following this, there will be a screening of Autumn and the Black Jaguar directed by French filmmaker Gilles de Maistre. Follow Autumn and her wild jaguar friend on their journey through the Amazon to discover the threats faced by wild animals and the rainforest.
