A motorcyclist and pillion rider were recently captured on dashcam footage attempting to snatch a woman’s handbag in broad daylight in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
The incident took place on April 30 around 4:30 PM, along Jalan Bina 1, Masai, Johor Bahru in the Seri Alam township.

The attempted theft, which was unsuccessful, was recorded by at least two dashcams from vehicles parked nearby.
In the footage, the victim, a woman crossing between a row of shops and parked cars, is seen with her handbag slung over her right arm. The motorcycle, coming from the opposite direction, approaches her quickly.

The Attempt Fails
The woman’s quick reaction to the attempted snatching startled her, and another passerby took notice, glancing back in response. Despite the close call, the woman continued walking, seemingly unfazed by the incident.
