The 2025 World Happiness Report reveals that Finland remains the world’s happiest country for the eighth consecutive year, scoring an impressive 7.736 out of 10 for life satisfaction. This marks Finland’s dominance in global happiness rankings, driven by high levels of social support, income, and trust in government.
In the report, which analyzes 137 countries based on factors like social support, income, freedom, and corruption levels, Denmark and Iceland secured the second and third positions, respectively. Costa Rica and Mexico also made notable gains, entering the top 10 for the first time, reflecting their improving happiness scores.
